sivakasi- an 100% carbon polluted town of Tamilnadu

 Sivakasi   is an important industrial town of Tamilnadu.
There are more than 1000 small units of fireworks, Match factories , and Calender printing along with dealing tons and tons of Chemicals. I have studied at Sivakasi . i have finished my highschool in 1959. i used to walk to my village by walk those days. i used to come across many fireworks units on the way. one day i sawa huge blast in Fireworks  unit  killing more than 20 people. it wasa horrible scene still I remember how i was trembling and My mother used to comfort me those days when i was in 6th std.
Now after many years of my exile from sivakasi i used to go and see my lands. it wasa desert.  but i have spent money and made two bore wells and i got water . so i have appointed one family to do agri work on monthly salary basis. iam paying 6000 per month to them
I cultivated many trees including Madhuca Indica and Pongamia and Amla trees , fruit trees and many more Neem trees for oxygen breathing. so in a small way i help my village from carbon pollution and i am advising my friends to plant trees in and around sivakasi.

All the fire works are testing their crackers after 7 pm every day. for one hour bursting all crackers as test firing. Imagine how much carbon emission will take place.


so we have to take urgent steps .
My solution....
1. Planning a

big campaign among farmers to plant at least 100 trees in their lands. so tree planting campaign must take place in full swing at Sivakasi.
if we do successfully we can perhaps create   permanent OXYGEN factories around villages.
2. There should bea carbon tax levied by govt of Tamilnadu and-and this they should pay to the farmers per gree  planting . and maintenance.
we can overcome absolute carbon Emission.
we can save SIVAKASI and The all villages around Virudhunagar District.
